Q
– Why should I have a senior portrait taken?

AYou have reached your senior year. Who knows what the future may hold for you? But right now... your on top! Getting here has been chalanging . You faced the challenge and made it. So do what history's conquering heros have done. Have a portrait created by an artist. A portrait that will be uniquely yours . One that will capture the true you... the essence of who you are today!

Q – What's the difference between a yearbook portrait and a senior portrait?

A – Your yearbook portrait is the head and shoulders portrait that is printed in your yearbook. This portrait is usually done to meet yearbook printing specifications. A senior portrait is the casual or formal portraits you have done to give to friends and family. The senior portrait is more of a personal expression of you!

Q - I received a postcard in the mail from 2 different portrait studios and they both said I need to have my portraits done at their studio. Why are 2 different studios telling me the same thing?

A – YES BEWARE! That is a very old trick and many studios still use it. Studio A doesn’t know that studio B is sending you a postcard too. Both studios are just using this old trick to fool as many people as they can to come to their studio to have their senior portraits done. Be careful, the tricks don’t stop there with these studios.

Q – Do I have to use the school photographer to have senior portraits done?

ANo, in most cases you can have your senior portraits created by the photographer you choose. There are still a handful of high schools that are behind the times and request that your year book photo is taken by the schools photographer. This insures a uniform look through out the year book. At my studio we can print your year book portrait to the exact specifications required for your schools yearbook so it’s never a problem. But if you attend a school that is strict about using the school photographer then I suggest you rally the troops and remind the school that here in America we have freedom of choice. You should be able to choose your own professional photographer.

Q – My school is strict about us using the school photographer and classes before us failed to change the schools policy. What can we do?

A – Be the class that gets the school to change their policy and go down in history as “the class that changed everything”. Or just have your free yearbook portrait done by the school photographer and choose another photographer to have your real senior portraits created.
